Not only do you receive free updates, minor upgrades, and discounted major upgrades, you have access to our technical support resources, which have been praised by the industry and used as a benchmark by other software companies.

Technical support

Every member of our support staff has worked in the publishing industry and understands the time-critical production processes inherent to production workflow. Our staff is on site to assist you 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern time (UTC -5), Monday through Friday.

After-hours emergency support

If you experience a production-stopping issue, you have access to our support specialists 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Minor and major upgrades

A firm commitment to development has always been a hallmark of MEI. You will have access to our latest software at no charge or a substantial discount. Minor upgrades (defined by a point increase within a version number, i.e. 2.0 to 2.5) are yours free of charge. Major upgrades (defined as an increase to a new version number, i.e. 2.7 to 3.0) are available to our customers at a discount set by MEI. In fact, our most recent major upgrades have been offered to our customers at a 100 percent discount.

Beta site participation

PSSA customers have the opportunity to help guide our products as we improve the way they work. In this special relationship between the beta site and MEI, we work closely to ensure that our latest products meet our customers’ needs. Many of our sites volunteer to test our software and are thrilled with the results.
